Schotte Scholarships
The Jennie Schotte Memorial Scholarship was established by George Schotte in memory of his beloved wife, Jennie Schotte, who had a keen lifelong interest in education. This scholarship is made possible through an endowment and generous gifts by members and friends of Gold Hill Evangelical Lutheran Church to the Gold Hill Lutheran Church Trust Fund.
REQUIREMENTS:
Applicant must complete the application form. The scholarship application form can be obtained from the church office and is also attached below.
Applicant must be a member or an associate member of Gold Hill Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Applicant must have completed one semester or quarter of college during the past academic year and have a minimum grade point average of 2.5.
Application must include a typed resume showing school, and community activities, honors, education, and job experience.
Financial needs will be taken into consideration,
Application must be received by the church office on or before July 1st and must be accompanied by an official transcript.
